The front seats of the Corolla Cross were supportive and comfortable for the whole two-hour ride. I would have chosen a model with a motorized driver’s seat, but alas, the only one available is the priciest XSE. The lack of legroom and the flatness of the seat cushions make life even more difficult for those riding in the backseat. With 139 horsepower and 126 pound-feet of torque, the 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine was last seen in the current year’s LE model. All versions now come standard with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which was previously available on the SE and XSE trim levels.
